Candidates for membership should complete a membership application form, signed by two adult full members of the club who shall act as proposer and seconder. The completed form should be sent together with the appropriate subscription and fees to the membership secretary who shall display the details of the application at the clubhouse for at least fourteen days. Election of candidates shall take place at a meeting of the General Committee or nominated sub-committee. All members must implicitly undertake to comply with the club's rules and byelaws, and will also be responsible for ensuring that any duties allocated to them by the duties secretary be carried out.

Membership Renewals due 1st May.
Existing members should ensure that their membership renewal is submitted as soon as possible. 2009/10 memberships and boat park fees have now expired.

New applicants for Ordinary and Family membership must pay a one-off entrance fee unless they have previously been members within the last 5 years.
Ordinary membership is open to applicants 18 years of age and over at 1st May of the membership year. Ordinary members have full voting rights.
Family membership extends Ordinary membership to include the spouse or partner living at the same address and any children aged 6 to 17 years fo age at 1st May of the membership year. The main applicant retains the same rights and privileges as an Ordinary member.
Young members are aged between 6 and 21yrs at 1st May of the membership year. They are entitled to the same rights and privileges as Ordinary members except that Young members under 18 years may not vote at a General Meeting. Students in full time education and over 21 years may apply to pay fees as if a Young member.
Any Young member below the age of 15 years must be supervised at the club by an adult at all times. This responsibility would normally be that of an Ordinary, Family or Associate member. Any Young member between the ages of 15 and 18 years may use the club unaccompanied, subject to their parents or guardian signing an annual 'guardianship' form.
Associate membership is for non-sailing sponsors of young members 6 to 15 years of age.
